Havent been on a lot lately as I have been building a shed/summerhouse in my back garden. Im almost finished just a bit more painting and some wooden blinds and double glazing to go in. Im chuffed to bits with it as its the first proper DIY thing I have done bearing in mind I built it from scratch with tongue and groove wood and 2x2 posts and the fact that Ive worked in an office for 14 years. Ive got plenty scratches and cuts where ive either sawn my finger or hit/screwdriven my thumb by accident, but I think its worth it
The approximate size is 13ft long by 10ft deep with one large summerhouse section (the double french door + window side) with a partition inside the other side a storage shed (single door)

What do you guys think of it.

PS Dont want anyone burgling it so I have air brushed out the address plaque I have on it

good to see you back on the site m8y ;)

very impressed and liking the shed ;)

Fancy a wee holiday in Scotland ..........

With 4 kids and only 3 bedrooms and the cost of upsizing too much, I was pretty much forced to do it (and by a nagging wife) They are all ok sleeping in bunk beds but they want a little private space now and then after school so I thought it would be a good idea.

Me Thinks it might also be a nice place to go when the wife is having her bad week of the month.

I dont want to get too carried away but the wife is already thinking of what my next project will be.... and heres me thinking I could just have a lie down

Top marks, well done. it feels so good afterwards when you do something yourself.

You'll always get some smart fecker to put there oar in, if the neighbours / people ask if you got planning permission jsut say yes.....lol

so youre the noisy fookr next door to me thats been banging for the last 2 months lol

looks good m8 id be well proud, as far as i know you dont need planning for wooden outhouses as the have no actual foundations

nice one m8. takes alot of time and hard work to do summat like that. i know me old mans always roping me in to doing similar stuff.

did u have someone helpomg you. because you need a high level of joinery skill to do that.

I think it looks crap mate.. i mean look at it.. newcastle UTD thing .. spoils it.. take that off and stand back you will see an improvement.. :)

Nah only jk good work.. i got told to do that once.. put a fixed wooden sand pit there instead.. saves the hassle..

Idea aswell you could put a telly in there n a dodgy box :) would be ace to get away from the mrs... I WANT ONE NOW :)
