There are a lot of life hacks out there. A lot. Trying to sort out ones you can do immediately or are at least kind of useful is tough. So, I did it for you. I sifted through many life hacks and found ones that I personally find useful for everyday life, things most people should know and tend to experience.

Here are 18 life hacks you can actually use.

Looking at these, on page 2, "ways to fasten a tie". One of my many niggles!

What's the purpose of a tie anyway? I suppose it's halfway to hanging, should you feel suicidal, but you probably have a belt!
I have worn ties at ceremonial occasions for convention really, but otherwise, why do some people find them necessary?:err:

Someone has just mastered the soap graft technique now?

I really don't have reason to wear a tie now, but to me a tie just makes a smart look even sharper and a properly knotted tie makes that look even better.
I used to wear a suit for work in my younger days and I regularly got asked by others how I had done my tie, I always used a double windsor knot that my father had taught me to do and even if I say so myself, it makes any tie look special.

Why do some people wear pants with their arse crack showing and the crotch down at their knees? It's not practical or comfortable, it's a uniform.

I wore a tie every day of my working life because it was part of the "uniform". Strictly only for weddings and funerals now. :)
