Now I feel old, that was 20 years after my time !
Here is a list of some of the programmes I remember watching :: Deputy Dawg, Popeye, Quick Draw McGraw, Bugs Bunny, Huckleberry Hound, Yogi Bear, The Flintstones, Top Cat, The Jetsons, Flipper, Skippy, Lassie, The Addams Family, The Munsters, The Beverly Hillbillies, Car 54 Where are You, Bewitched, I Dream of Jeannie, Lost in Space, The Man From U.N.C.L.E. Hogans Heroes, Bilko, Bonanza, Gunsmoke, Raw Hide, Wagon Train, Candid Camera, The Futitive, and as a treat before bed on a Sunday was Sunday Night at The London Palladium. There were lots of others but these are the ones I really liked and remembered.
You didn't like "Amos 'n Andy", or didn't remember it? :Biggrin2:
Amos "n" Andy was a little dark humour, probably not pc these days. Not one that I watched, the thing I did notice was that the majority of programmes were America and one of those I didn't like was Mr Ed. Although as a "younger" kid I did watch things like Tales of the Riverbank, Torchy, Watch With Mother, which had things like Bill and Ben, The Woodentops, Rag, Tag and Bobtail and Andy Pandy !!
Now they were real kids TV programmes !!
Almost forgot a couple of others I used to watch, Mr Pastry and Animal Magic with Johnny Morris.
The Double Deckers and my favourite the Banana Splits.
