if your a kid of the eighties

I feel sorry for kids now days their imagination is getting sucked up by too many gadgets.I honestly think in time to come no one will have to think it will all be thought up for them.Them vids brang back so much memory's and not one gadget in any ad all good harmless fun toys.Dont get me wrong i love gadgets but we had a chance to grow into them now they are handed to kids as young as 2 so sad.

Hogans Heroes, Bilko, Bonanza, Gunsmoke, Raw Hide, Wagon Train, Candid Camera, The Futitive, and as a treat before bed on a Sunday was Sunday Night at The London Palladium.
There were lots of others but these are the ones I really liked and remembered.

Not one that I watched, the thing I did notice was that the majority of programmes were America and one of those I didn't like was Mr Ed. Although as a "younger" kid I did watch things like Tales of the Riverbank, Torchy, Watch With Mother, which had things like Bill and Ben, The Woodentops, Rag, Tag and Bobtail and Andy Pandy !!
Now they were real kids TV programmes !!
Almost forgot a couple of others I used to watch, Mr Pastry and Animal Magic with Johnny Morris.
