Getting a few 'nginx bad gateway' errors today - not good for shopping

It is because I have php-fpm restarting on a cron every 2 minutes so the ODesk coder does not need higher access to the site.
That is temporary, because our cache timeout on APC is about an hour, he would have to wait an hour after every edit he does to the pages.
