I'm trying to find some posts I made a few years back, but no matter what search criteria I use, I only come up with threads I've started rather than all posts.

Give us a clue "Keyword" for the posts your looking for?
I'm looking at a date range, not a particular word.

try the bottom of the search page and change it from threads to posts

Now that's interesting. I remember that option was always there before, but I've tried on a desktop and an iPad and it seems to have disappeared.
And to add to the mystery, when I click on that link you've given me indicating it, I get "Sorry, no matches etc."

Strange now when I click on the link I posted I get the same as you but I didn't before, it took to straight to your posts.
Just tried again and I see your posts with a new search.

OK, finally solved the problem after a lot of farting about.
For some weird reason, when I choose "advanced search", it's defaulting to "search multiple content types" which doesn't have the threads/posts option. I need to click on "search single content type" and then I'm good to go.

Lol, if only. The furthest I can get back at the moment is September 2013, by clicking on my name and "view forum posts". Clearing the cache didn't help.

UPDATE: Problem solved. :jumpinghappy::jumpinghappy::jumpinghappy:
Besides defaulting to "multiple content types", when I changed to single content type" it was then defaulting to "Satellite Navigation Files".
I've never even had a satellite receiver so go figure.
So, two workarounds and away we go!
