Tm2600 motor query

Hi currently fitting my first motor sat system following the forum guides (priceless) and have a slight prob with the tm2600 motor super in that the receiver will move the motor but the manual shift button doesn't move the motor and the light underneath doesn't light up, the reset button also feels as if there's no resistance when paper clip wire is inserted, should there be some kind of micro switch to jiggle in there? any help gratefully appreciated as new to all this but quite keen to sort it out cheers

In theory you shouldn't need the manual buttons (though they can be helpful). Is the motor second-hand? If so, check it for play before committing.

Thanks for your reply, it is second hand but assured that it's working having a few issues with wrong data etc but wanted to rule faulty motor out before going up n down the ladders checking everything else first it powers round for fun controlled by the box but just thought it unusual to have these options of manual control and reset and not to work thanks for your help I'm sure I will be seeking more soon lol
