Hi all,

Anyone ever have this issue!
My motor stopped responding last night, when I chose a Sat.
On the satfinder screen the motor doesn't move either.
Locally all looks good, green LED = Healthy.
I can move the motor locally by pressing East or West buttons, however nothing through the STB.
By the way its a Solo2....

Any info appreciated.

Suttsy..

Sometimes mine stops responding so I go into Positioner setup and send it to 0,thats sorts it every time for me :)

Tried that mate, worked 1st time, then after that dido!
Feel like throwing an angle grinder across it.
Its melting my head, motor only 14 months old very little use.....gggrrrrrr:bangshead:

Any chance you can borrow another box to test it with?

Have 3 boxes Wiz, tried all still no joy....

To make things worse than they already are, Sly HD box is also on the blink, wifey is having pups over it....
Rang them to replace HD box & got a bullshit story about "try this, try that"
Replaced dish & coax cables & still only a few channels available......
Gona ring those robbing F*****S! in the morning to cut it off!
Thinking of going down the MMDS route, anyone with info about this, before I blew a fuse!!!!

If you can drive the motor to 0 then have you tried the reset button its too the right of the led light.

Just an update folks!
Got this issue sorted, replaced the coaxial cable and all worked.
Kinda strange issue, but I'm up and running again...
Thanks to those who assisted..

Update!
Found coax cable on roof to be the fault.
The outer shielding had worn away from weather, rubbing it off the roof tile exposing the inner core.
A right bitch to find though..
Cut back cable to the area tha was damaged and the problem disappeared.
A happy house again!!!!
