Reviewing a Satellite Box

Just want to get some ideas from you lovely people

If you was writing a review of a satellite box what questions would you like to see available?

IE

1) Remote Control Usability
2) How many Tuners
3) etc etc

I would really appreciate any suggestions.

Wonder who brought this up recently lol....

I think one of the main considerations is support and the longevity of the support.

Other things

Build Quality
Tuner sensitivity
Blind Scan Option and functionality
Speed Navigating menus.
IPTV Support
Card Reader Capability
Difficulty in setup from dish to emu
How the software firmware channel list etc is programmed, anything else required to do this, Com port, USB.
If Linux then Flash and Ram size.
Internal or external PVR capability.


In sure there more but that's all that springs to mind for now

And end-user-friendliness. Not everyone who uses boxes are enthusiasts, some actually use them to... dare I say it? ...watch TV! It's nice if it's easy for them too.
