Does that mean there will be no regulation? I have heard that certain Chinese ones are a bit dodgy to say the least... but how would you know?
Not that I am a smoker, but I know of plenty who would probably give the things a try IF they were certain they weren't doing themselves as much if not more harm than the ciggies do.

whilst i dont like their meddling, do we really need another unregulated drug out there?
Nicotine can be dangerous and defiantly should not be available to kids.

yeah i got similar too
its getting to be a tool used to try and stop people reading some pages on the net. you just list the page a malware, and it takes time to establish if its true.
I ignored the warnings and it was all good.

Sounds like a bit of subterfuge by the tobacco companies. And I wouldn't put it past them to have spread the rumours about supposedly dodgy e-cigs.

when these things first came out, were'nt they meant to be an aid towards giving up smoking? so still get the nicotine, and wean off it, without the harmfull pollutants in smoke? why are fags so tightly controlled etc? cos of the nicotine addictive drug? so why not the same for these, they SHOULD be classed as a medicine, thats how they intended to be started off. with these, people are probably more addicted to nicotine now, than when they were smoking fags. i see some people constantly walking round with one of them in their hand, some of them are like small bongs, and theyre constantly smoking them, every 15 seconds, where they would have probably only had a fag every half hour

nicotine isnt a great problem m8 , yea u are hooked on it but in the levers u vap its not going to kill u , the 2000 harmful extras in fags will

I dont think they are tightly controlled, tbh. There's a shitload of tax and excise on them, yeah, but any corner shop or garage can sell them, no training is needed to act as an agent, etc. I'm vaping over a year now: havent seen any harmful effects. I have seen lots of government warnings on fag packets, bus shelters etc, that 1 in 2 smokers will die of smoking/tobaco related illnesses. Reckon my chances are much better with e-cigs!

People thought Asbestos was safe! They even thought Cigarettes had health benefits in the past.
I suppose all "vapers" are chemists and understand what they are sucking in, or believe they are sucking in.

I think there should be tighter controls on who can supply the chemicals.
Remember the Chinese put melamine in baby powder, do you think their liquids don't contain any harmful substances?

Or is it, hey look at me with my bong shaped vaper thingy I am da man innit!

Point is we know whats in the eliquid. And the ingredients that make it are safe.

We know whats in cigarettes, and those ingredients are not safe.

Now I cant speak for unscrupulous liquid makers though I cannot see how much cheaper they can make it by substituting ingredients.

Now these are NOT an aid to give up smoking. They are simply an NRT. If you want to give up nicotine then ecigs are probably not for you.

best way is to make your own m8 .. pg and vg base fluid is a food filler and 99.9% safe , there no need for anyone to buy this off the china sellers its cheap on ebay , l only use menthol crystals and 15% nicotine ..


E-liquid is a mixture of varying amounts of about 4 different ingredients. Nicotine, PG (propylene glycol), VG (vegetable glycerin) and flavoring. Some liquids can have additional ingredients, but for the most part, these are the main ingredients to all e-liquid.

The amount of nicotine is dependent on the strength of nicotine in your e-liquid, but let’s say it is around 10% nicotine. Somewhere around 10% of your e-liquid will be flavoring. That leaves 80% of the liquid in your bottle for fillers, which dilute the flavoring and the nicotine. This is where PG and VG come in, and depending on how you like your vape, that determines the percentage of PG and VG in your e-liquid.

Vegetable Glycerin (VG) is a thick, sweet liquid. VG produces luscious clouds of vapor. VG also imparts a sweeter taste to your liquid.

Propylene Glycol (PG) is a much thinner tasteless liquid. PG produces more of a “throat hit” than VG does, which simulates the feel of smoking better. PG also has a higher rate of sensitivity for some people, meaning that some people just can’t use PG in their vape.

There is a difference in inhaling something versus eating it.

Nicotine is more toxic than Cocaine.
Whilst its, almost, impossible to "OD" by smoking.
It's been seen with gum and patches.

I'm a user too wouldn't be without it now.
but i need to know exactly what, and how much of it, is in the bottle.

this stuff needs tight controls. perhaps not on sales (except 18+ restriction) but defiantly on production and content.

Its not more toxic, It has the same effect as cocain on your brain and classed as more dangerous due to it being available to buy freely. Whereas cocain can only be bought on the black market.

Vaping is great in my opinion was trying to quit for ages and couldnt, tried an ecig and never looked back plus i feel great

nicotine has a fatal dosage of 50mlg cocaine has a fatal dose at 95mlg
ergo nicotine is more toxic than cocaine.
its not even up for discussion as its an establish medical and scientific fact.

if you read my post you would know i vap.
this does not mean i dont want myself and others protected. especially from such a toxic chemical.
as with any legally available drug it needs regulation.

Ok fair enough, but that would be a case of drinking 50mlg of nicotine liquid. who in there right mind would do that?
