i need help setting up DM800HD C clone

got it friday morning and it wont scan for channels guys its got gemini 4.5 for sim 2.01 bl75 running on it ive tried just about every other image and still each time i scan for channels comes back as tuner failed :S

this is my first dreambox and the cable feeds into the house are live have a v+ box and eurovox 7000hd box that work fine

i guess im clueless with it now and need all the help i can get and all ideas help and guidance would be welcome cos im pulling my hair out

i read elsewhere on the forums that the tuners supplied were cak, try a booster or get an oem one

Try these settings on a manual scan.

Tuner - Tuner A DVB-C
Type of Scan - Single Transponder
Frequency - 411
Inversion - Auto
Symb Rate - 6952
Modulation - 64-QAM
FEC - Auto
Network Scan - Yes
Clear Before Scan - No
Only Free Scan - No

Obviously you'll have to change the symbol rate to your area, and if that don't work change the frequency to 667.

hiya guys for some reason its just scanned all the channels including hd ones dont know why its on mgcam, but now its only letting me watch fta stuff what do i need to do to sort it out so i can watch the pay channels???

Have you put the key/rom files in ?

/var/keys - SoftCam.Key, AutoRoll.key
/var/scce - nagraepr7.bin,nagraram7.bin,nagrarom7.bin

no afterhours ive not where can i get them from??? and how do u do that tia

ive just used flash fxp to transfer keys and roms to dreambox in those locations and nothings happened think i might have got wrong ones can you send me them pls afterhours

ive tried 3 lots of keys and roms now still no joy guys come on someone must know what im not doing lol help!!!!!

should go in /usr on DM800

/usr/keys - SoftCam.Key, AutoRoll.key
/usr/scce - nagraepr7.bin,nagraram7.bin,nagrarom7.bin

Reboot and channels should clear after a min

a mate sent me his dm800 down after losing all the channels last week

thing is i can only get it to find 2 hd channels nothing else

done the manual scan setting and it doesnt find anything


is anyone in the sheffield are willing to send me the bouquets files etc to bring the channels back up

its a clone box but was working fine before the channels swap

Three weeks since I received my DM 800HD clone.I do have a subscription for some channels on W2@ @16*East( 11492 V 29950).InSERVICE SEARCH /reception settings
what should I choose in Voltage Mode and Tone mode.
How to LOCK a particular sat in SATFINDER.
Tune Manual transponder
SAT W2 @ 16*/Eurobird
FREQ 11492 Inversion auto SR 29950 Polarity V
FEC auto Diseqc none

With these entered in the reception settings, no channel has been downloaded .
How to remedy ?
