NO CA FOUND

Cant get into menu and get it to boot up whilst holidng in the stanby button help!

Thanks Mark I am trying that as we speak, dreamup 1.3.3 taking forever.

Not sure if this related but I read somewhere else this can be caused by an bootloader conflict in clones? Does anyone know if this would be the case here or is it more likely a bad flash?

if u have flashed a bootloader above 72 u would get err 1:no ca found.

How can you tell which bootloader has been flashed or how can you change it? I have just tried to flash Nabilo Sat image and getting the same error?

Sorry Nabilo cable image that was posted on here as a backup by boywonder. Pulling my hair out now.

im having the same problem... it seems like it wasnt patched for boootloader 72.

can anyone else help?

Why don't you simply flash the booltloader 72 on it ?
The BL only is very small. Via RS232 it will take you a minute.

I wish I could... but DreamUp doesnt even see the Dreambox... any ideas?

- You could try different versions of DreamUp. The one that worked for me is 1.3.3

- select COM1
- do NOT check "use network"

- remove power cable from DM and leave the DM powered OFF
- ensure RS232 connection with a NULL MODEM cable
- click on "Connect" in DreamUp
- put power cable back in DM

- DreamUp should start to load a basic boot loader

I have set network as per tut, downloaded the only ccam plugin available, upadated software and now I can't scan. It's a Philips dvb-c tuner so I don't get why it won't pick up any transponders?

That worked for me.
