So i bought a clone for £280 because its much much cheaper than the new £400 price mark, and some people say the build is much better :)

So im wondering, what image should i load - and what should i avoid doing incase dmm try to blow it up.

Thanks

terribly sorry, ive just introduced meself

So to play it safe should i put something like Nabilosat & Cccam 209 on

because ive heard talks of a timebomb being in 210 :CRYBABY:

thats the first time i have seen that the build is better lol its a box that can do hd you think because its a clone its going to be better cheap parts always think of that also if you get a unit that heats up as some of them do on the hd chans then there will be even more probs after all its just a cheap knock out of the real thing and thats what most of the uk clone dealers have been saying

dm800hd clone quality isnt good yet, give it a few more months

took the words right out of my mouth lol from what was said still alot to be done with them

Do not use a gemini image on your clone reciever at all as it was mentioned just install a nablio black hole with latest Cccam

Thought you could use a gemini image as long as you use an official DM Mac address

well just sold mine and selling of all my sat receivers time to get the 8000 me thinks bring on the daddy hehe

i bought a real one, it aint all that, apart from hard drive functionality, high definition, and 1 or 2 more extras, its not so much more impressive than the 500
its 32 bit, which is a huge difference from the 500 centurys old 8 bit system, so the menus and channels look faaaarrrr better than even the original vm boxes
i wouldnt recommend one though
its not worth the extra £320

BTW i didnt get the box.

It has started getting more support though, with nabilo v6 out now.

I reckon the ipbox will have better pq though
