Hi, I have a DM500 box and whilst flicking through the setup i noticed I have a 16GB hard drive built in, is this capable of recording the programs that I would like to record, as I have tried recording but it says there is no room, but when I go to recordings there is nothing ...
HELP PLEASE!

You don't have a 16Gig hard drive built in m8, you have a chip that has 16Meg .

LOL.....Noobs.

Well when I go onto Expert Setup it has got the following ... 650mb,700mb,800mb,1gb,1.5gb,2gb,4gb,8gb and 16gb. I was just wondering what this was for as I am new to all of this and was wondering why I could not record as it says all recording space is full?

Your DM500 does not have an internal HD, but check out this sticky on how to set up recording to your PC or a NAS drive.

It's been a while since I used a non-Neutrino image, but as far as I remember, it might be the option for recording sizes. In some circumstances, it makes sense to split large recordings over multiple files.
