Using satellite and cable

Hi everyone, I have a question about the AU update and keys that I would use from another site for Satellite channels.

I am no expert on how these cams work at all but if I need keys for N*Hell and polsat, I would usually use CCcam for polsat and Evo for N*Hell, but I would put all the keys in all the files and this worked perfectly.

Can I add all the keys for polsat to the bottom of what I have in keylist etc or will that destroy this AU rom stuff.

Any help would be great as I have just got the N*Hell going again today but none of the satellite channels.

I should add maybe that I am using a 7025+ with Gemini image. I installed the cams from the blue button etc. I am in Vm area.

Just stick with CCcam for all your needs and then try and find the latest dreambox keys or the latest softcam.key file.

I cant get CCam to do the Cable channels, only mg and evo will do these for me. that was even before the rolling.

Does anyone know of a definitive guide for what cam uses what files etc.

It won't effect the rom update. Worse case, if it doesn't work, just delete Keylist.txt and restart cam. It will be recreated with the correct keys for VM.

Ive been trying to get ccam to work by deleting keylist etc but all it does is crash my box. I can still only get evo and Mg to to the cable.

Anyhow what cam uses keylist and what files does Ccam use?

CCcam
var/keys=SoftCam.Key AutoRoll.key constant.cw
programe files= var/bin CCcam
config files= var/ect CCcam.cfg

keylist i think is Newcamd
Keylist.txt Evocamd

there is a list some where here that tells you where all the cams files go if i find it will let you know

Hi I'm have the same probs, heres my set up:

LT 4, Evo - xmas version, Evo config 2.1.4, CCcam 2.0.8, and Dccamd.

Ive got Evo working with VM and my Sat dish is pointed at Hotbird 13.

When i'm watching VM and want to watch sat I've got to change to CCcam and then back to Evo for VM.

Is there 1 cam to do both? do I need a config file? or do I need to put a keylist.txt file in somewhere.

Also because i'm a newie and Fik thats thick:

1, What does Dccamd do?

2 What is PiG zap in LT config?

3, Whats a Picon.

4, and whats a GUI.

I can answer 3 with a baybe I think a Picon is the graphic for a channel

4 I know the answer for, a GUI is the graphic user interface, think of it like using windows rather than DOS prompts

Hi this might be a solution for each channel/supplier to use diff cams
go blue button/enable auto cam/auto camd settings/select cam for which channels you want
