Clone boxes destroyed by gemini

Ok people i see threads around the forums that gemini have done a dirty on clone box users with there last image 4.3.1 apparently it destroys bootloaders jtag is going to be the answer if thats the case ******CLONE BOMB******FFS GEMINI

Strange that the dmm drivers only effects their image.

probably cheap tuner they use in clone? but i got 100% trust in dw image.

tis distroys bootloader only way to fix is jtag from what i hear not sure if its in cvs yet

Looks like DW will have to steer clear of the latest enigma images then for fear of bricking 90% of known dreamboxes in the UK.

i have also been told by the official UK distributor of dboxes that dm are sending out a signal via all the european satellites to disable the clones.
he informed me of this when i was trying to buy an 800, why i needed to know this i don't know but im still waiting on a respnse to my email to him asking a price for 5 500+ and 2 800's, i don't think he wants the trade, so whats a bloke supposed to do? the clones arrived next day..............

Quite simple, buy a clone, save yourself some money and dont use gemini. I certainly will not use gemini again.

but what about the people who say got 500s clones and they come with gemini on them ready to go were do they stand , why not pay the couple of pound more and get the 500+ witch may i add has an adsl modem in it and have no probs

The clones that I got came with gemini 4.2 on them. So the only ones effected are my brother box who flashed his to 4.3.1 I think has the virus/bomb?

the clone a friend of mine got is dead of one of the main clone shops and was only flashed with what they give him so he has a 2 week old 500s that is dead

The killer virus is only included in gemini 4.3.1 and some other brandnew images..
