EPG/bouquets

Hi can any body help me I have a dream box dm 800 hd running open PLi. I've been trying to down load EPG and Bouquets from plugins and keep getting error message saying wget:server returned error HTTP/1.1 404 not found opkg not found perhaps you need to run opkg update. Thanks.

Reckon your box is not connected to the internet correctly run a network test.

Hi Feret thanks for your quick reply. I can get all sky channels but can't download from plugins I thought I would need internet connection for sky channels.

If I do need to run a network test how do I do it and what am I looking for.

Which plugin are you using for bouquets?

i have tried to post a photo of the error message on line but don't know how to.

If you have ruled out network issues on your end, then it will be issue with image server.

Hi Abu I would be grateful for any bouquets I tried to download rats a while ago but couldn't obviously something I was doing wrong so I looked in plugins and found some in there but the box went wrong sent it back to the supplier he sorted it out when I tried to put epg an boquets back on from plugins it keeps coming up with an error message about opkg.

Install Rats bouquet updater, that will avoid you having to use the image server.

The instructions are in the thread. Recap

Extract the rar file
Transfer the ipk to /tmp/ directory on receiver.
Telnet the following command

opkg install /tmp/*.ipk

That should install it.

Click on "Go advanced", Manage attachments, select teh file and rest should be self explanatory.

Rather than take a picture using your camera, you can also take a screenshot using your web browser. Replaces the X so that it is the IP address of your receiver. Paste in the address bar of your browser. You can right click and save the picture.

Why do you want to download epg from the internet? Download it from the satellite. Downlaod Cross EPG downloader and enable 28.2 in the openTv providers.

Opkg update, telnet the following command.

opkg update
