dyndns pro account

hey guys, my renewal is up for my dyndns pro account, iv got a small server for friends and family, do i still need this pro account, my home ip address very rarely changes so is this still needed, im happy to continue on and renew if so just trying to work out if its actually needed.

also if i didnt renew will i still get a free account with them or has it all went paid now.

any help appreciated

No free ones now, think the cost is £25 a year.

yeah i thought as much mate to be honest, so i need to keep it then, its showing as $25 for a year

If your IP address rarely changes, why bother? You'll know it's changed when things stop working, then just tell them the new one. Mine only changes every few weeks so haven't needed dyn since they stopped the free service.

I think you still need to log in to the free account every 30 days or they delete it.

just every month log in and update host..
