need somthing which runs enigma, is well supported and reliable
heard the cloud ibox3 dvb c tuner is crap...lol

plus what sim a8p or ......?

last time i messed with dreamboxs was with dm500c / dm500s

and could some1 point me in the right direction to a supplier with high quality products
im after reliability and good tuner

cheers

In order of preferance with regards to the DMs.

Dm800SE v2
Dm800SE
DM800

However, the DM500c will be fine soon. There are other receivers too

You may wish to use a twin tuner receiver for both sat and cable.

The ibox 3 c tuner is a little weak your going to need a strong signal for it to work without breakup. It does work fine at around 45db below 41db it struggles.

Id wait for the new Solo Plus and stick the hybrid tuner in it but if its DMM you want the the 800se V2 clone would do you but for basic viewing even the 800se is fine. Try find a Phillips DVbC tuner as there much better with weak signals.

Sim for me is A8P so your never stuck running old drivers kernels etc.

Original images all the way.

dm500 is very easy to start with and flash a good image

Lmao ....... U kidding me??

I thaught it's rocket science lmao

I'm after a HD receiver which runs enigma2 and has a good reliable tuner for dvb-C

Is it worth investing in a expensive box with Skys' plans to change encryption soon?

Read the post properly!

I Think u should of gone to specsavers

I'm after a DVB-C tuner box
Which the C stands for Cable!

Not SAT
