whenever i try and send over any rotar bouquet lists, dbedit is returning an error.

Error sending file "satellites.xml" to the dreambox

now out of interest would that stop my dish moving? im trying to have a wee look see at whats being beamed and my dish isnt moving with any rotar bouquets. now i know the motor is ok because i reflashed my box and the symbol showing movement popped up whilst it reset itself when i put in my co-ordinates on usals. is there any way of putting a channel list across without using dbedit or ftp? rats sly bouquet works perfect.

stef

The receiver will consult the satellites.xml so this needs to be correct.

What settings are you using for Dreamboxedit?

You can download premade channel lists through the image plugin feeds. May not be latest. Best to resolve the issue you are having with DBedit.

OpenPLI.2.1.800SE.Sim2.SSL84b.Media Portal IPTV Special By Ferret

downloaded this image, works a treat. the bouquet is out of date. so everything is working motor box etc. just need to sort out whats going on in the crazy world of ftp.

to answer yer question on what settings im using. im using the standard settings of dbedit when u download and install.

Can you post a screenshot of your DreamboxEdit settings please?

Try Dreamset mate and set it up like this.

Transfer A Channel List To Your DreamBox With Dreamset

1. Unrar Dreamset and place all the files into a folder.

2. Start the program with the little dish icon.
Click setup.

What does it report ?

lots of lines saying failed to transfer bouqut #.....

on another note ferret. whats yer favourite image, i like how this ones set out. also the iptv stuff, do u pay a server for it? or is it free?

I would not update the reciver software could download original drivers, doing so will give you the 2 tuner effect. There is a update feature in the tsmedia plugin.

Also for user stream updates its handy to use these
TSmedia OE2.0_userstream.xml updates 11/2/14 - Downloads - Digitalworldz

These are ipk files just ftp to tmp and then manually install these are updated regular and have some good stuff.

backup your drivers if you plan on software update mate

thats what i do that way you can send in proper drivers you have

lib/modules/dm800se/extra

save these three

bcm4506.ko bcm7405.ko stb-core.ko

should be ok but your choice if you update box or not
