Downloaded the OpenPLi-4-Dm800se-sim210-ssl84b appears to work well but have a issue with Discovery HD channel in that what happens is this. When I select it to view I get a black screen then the picture appears and a short time later (3odd seconds) up pops tune failed. The +1 channel works ok it just the Discovery HD one and I think the odd music channel might do it too. I did try it on a friends dish and I got the same result. Just noticed same is happening on sky sports 3 Tune failed.

have you an up to date channel list

may need a new xml as well

Used the Rats one on the image just doing a scan as we speak the fact that I was picking it up for a short time would suggest that the Freq is right. Can't remember if it was or was not on the previous image. I was thinking it was movement on the dish but the fact that it was also doing it on a friends dish threw me somewhat. Scan just finished picked up 953 channel on 28.2E

Take a look at the signal fluctuation on that channel if its jumping up and down then its usually a sign of a none Rev M tuner.

The symptoms you have suggest that.

Take a look at the tuner revision.

The Tuner that is in the unit is a BCM 4505 tuner. The thing I don't get here is that I was near sure that 3 months back it was working. It does clear but will only stay for a short while or it will stick then clear and then tune failed appears.

Did you check the signal fluctuation on those channels ?

Whats the dish setup you have ?

At the moment there is 0 signal on the affected channel the dish I have up is the 80cm triax dish with a Smart Universal LNB TQS Quad Switch 0.1 dB Titanium.
I must admit I have not put the signal meter on the dish as its been dark by the time I get home. It was doining the same thing on a friend dish as well which is why I don't think it is a signal issue. But I could be proved wrong. At the moment I am scanning a vu duo so it will see what happens here.
