Helllo Everyone!
Advice needed pls.

1. Does a dm800se pause,rewind,aswel as record.
2. Is it easy to put a hard drive init
3. Can it be used as a client box with full functions.
4. Is this the best hd box at the moment.

Thanks all
looking forward to replys.

As above 1,2 Yes. 3 Yes - Will work as server or client with full features. 4. "best" means different things to different people, it's a highly opinionated subject. I would say for the price it's diffucult to find a HD reciever with the same support, spec and feature set.

Yes you can ,you can set up timeshift to a hdd if you fit one or a usb memory stick

Yes you can m8 :)

My box should be hear this week im gona get reading on how to set up time shift is this hard to do i have a memo stick do i need a hard drive also for the pause/rewind live tv to work.

yes you can pause rewind from the mem stick. Put a hdd in if you want to record. 2.5 inch sata. Same as most laptops :)

There is loads of guides on here to help you out.

Best thing to do is install the picons, epg and time shift onto your USB stick, then use your external or internal drive for recording to. This has been suggested on here as it means your box doesn't have to keep on access the hdd which isn't good for it.

I usually get it out the box, put the image on it and configuration tuner, transfer or download relevant bouquets, setup cross epg, setup time shift and then do the picons.

this is what i want to do but dont have a 2.5 drive yet so want to set up just the pause for now but i have had no joy using dw image and cant get time shift up and running i cant change so the time shift goes to my usb. my usb doesnt show up but i have formated it with TSpanal.

Can't remember what it is like, but sure I had to go into setup then recording locations, remove bookmark, then use the bouquet up button, then click on parent directory and choose USB drive.
