Best way is to start your own with a small group of friends and family

I'm going down this route of having my own share between friends and family, I got 10 x DM500s from China delivered yesterday for about £400, gonna pass them around the family at cost price and charge them a small annual fee for the cline to cover subscription charges - then also going to try get a few euro cards swapped for my own use.

Sounds as though you bought the same package as me mate. If so, you may get problems. 4 of the 10 I bought had problems.
2 of them had intermittent ethernet, 1 with a garbled audio fault and the other couldn't scan for channels.

The soldering was terrible inside these boxes and components are slightly misaligned. I have repaired all these boxes although in fairness the supplier advised me to return the motherboards only for swap.

I've bought 20 x DM500c before and every single one was fine, albeit never tested ethernet because it wasn't necessary. I'm using a new supplier this time though, I had a chat with him via email and told him this might be the first of quite a few batches I buy from him, and would he check every one of them worked - he agreed. I'm hoping the lure of getting repeat business from me would make him try his best not to give me any duds.
