After this, it gets to 100% flashed and the dreambox wont boot.

    Anyone got a cure?

Tried various images and all the same

    Thanks.

Bootloader 72 matey, patched images yes.

Also tried non patches images, seems like its a problem with the flash.

Theres no such thing as a flash erase either

Tried the fix bad sector thign with dreamup too and no luck.

Connected via telnet but it just shows the box info, cant use a command to erase the flash.

    Got to be something huh?

    Re: Dreambox 800 flashing problem.

presuming its a clone, why did you even flash with a non clone safe image, you could of bricked it m8

try to do factory reset and flash again with safe image
If I've helped, please tip the scales

I tried various patched images mate all with the same bad sectors, only tried a non patched image after that, so its got nothing to do with it being a clone

    Wheres the factory reset option?

In telnet on the boxes IP?

    I think its fecked tbh
