Hi,

I am interested in card sharing (satellite with ###) and would like to know which box is best. I gues all the requirements are that it had an ethernet port (do any of these have wifi?). Also is it limited to dreamboxes only or are there other boxes that can use this?

I am looking for a cheap(ish) box that is very reliable. is there anywhere else apart from ebay that is good for selling these boxes?

you must decide, will you be looking HD channels or not.
in these days it is a lot of cheap dm clones, prices about <100£.
more expensive boxes have wifi installed, if you will be using box
with enigma2, you can just connect one of the linux usb wifi dongle,
otherwise cheap wifi router will suite you.

Dreambox 500 is entry level, it,s cheap an does the job well ...also plenty of support for them all over the net/forums...no wi-fi on it though..don,t think u can get them on e-bay.but not sure as i don,t use it... but there r plenty of UK sellers out there..look around.cheers Satcat

the technomate TM500 will do it m8, very stable and better sound quality than any dm500, original or clone, and only £80

Thanx for your quick reply. What is the difference between technomate TM500 and Dreambox 500? when you say clone, isnt clones a cheaper knockoff that soesnt work as well?

I dont have HD so no point in getting a hd box. Nice to know that a usb wifi card works.
