Sim swap procedure

Hi everyone,
I have the following question for a DM800se:
I read in the forum that a a8p sim, without a converter, can work with the latest original image. With for example a estar v3sim, you always needed a converter to work with the latest software.
Is this correct and what is the procedure to change from sim chip after of course power off?
Like comments.

Yes mate the A8P sim works with original images and drivers.

To swap the sim.

With your estar sim still in your box flash with an original image dont reboot after flashing kill the power at the plug.
Now swap sims and reboot.

Thats it.
