If your image crashes a backup will get it back to the working state it was in about 5 mins just flash the backup.

Dflash is what most will use for the backup, if you search dflash there are loads of threads on the subject.

I use the backup settings menu "System/software management/backup system settings"
I will find a guide to use Dflash.

I have a "TSimage-3-0-OE-2-0-dm800se-clone" now in the flash

I don´t get a proper backup with dflash. I've tried several versions (from 0.98 to 13.3) and all they do backup with size between "0" and 188 kb "nfi" file. No produced files between 45 or 55 mb.
I tried with several images (OoZooN, OpenPLi, TSimage). I do not know what could be the problem.

Anyone know how to help?

My device: Dreambox dm800se clone SIM 2.1 SSL84d

Try taking a backup with the LNB disconnected at the tuner.

Sounds strange but it does work.

as above method i do if fails

pull plug from mains disconnect sat feed from tuner

power up then run dflash backup to proper location sound for me
