No tuner found after re start... Sim2.1

Hiya guys, hoping you can hep me out as I'm puzzled as hell.

Ive got a DM800se Clone with Sim2.1. I originally had an issue with the image that was on it and after some digging, found DigitalWorldz ( lucky me ) and downloaded the simple and latest backup image to get things going... Worked perfectly first time.

Turned it on this morning and now i get 'No Tuner found'... Again did some reading and re flashed the boot loader and re flashed the image and i still get the same error.
There are tonnes of info available on here about this, but its not very clear as what boot loader i need and what image would work... as it stands i can't even get into the box via iDream ( mac ) as it won let me in..

Does anyone know which boot loader i need ( and where it is ) and what image anyone recommends as the iDream needs an enigma2 image base...

Confused is not the word...

Just a small update... the little screen on the front of the box says SIM 2.. not SIM2.1 like the gold sticker on the back... I've never noticed it before, just thought i would mention it.

Which exact image are you trying to install? Post a link (if on this forum) to avoid confusion.

check its not lost tuner settings as can happen

menu/setup/service searching/tuner configuration

also check its seated correctly as can be loose

Agree with Alimac

Reckon the tuner is not fully seated, this seems to be a common problem with these boxes they just work loose.

Bloody thing was 3mm out of its socket, must have taken a knock somehow.... simplest answer is normally the correct one!

Nowadays I just fasten them with a glue gun. unbelieveable how sensitive they are
