Hi everybody,

I would appreciate a bit of help.
A friend of mine gave me to reflash DM800SE that was freezing on boot.
OLED showed SIM2&4 bootloader 82.
Tried to flash via Webinterface (As I would with my original DM8000) and it flashed correctly.
The image used was "dream-allrussian-exp-dm800se-v6.11.1", as I was told that it was showing "Allrussian" on boot before.
After rebooting it just shows " R01: NO CA FOUND" and will not connect to PC any more.
What have I done incorrectly and what would be a solution.
Cheers!

The NO CA Found error is usually because of bootloader/sim mistmatch issues.

Verify sim in receiver. After which flash matching bootloader.

Thanks, will have a look inside. How can I flash it as it would not show Webinterface and there is no RS232 port?

On the 800se, you use a mini usb cable. There should be a miniflash button at the back.

The downloads section has the required software.

"DM800SE 11355 SIM 210" is on the SIM and Sunray Sunshine sticker on tuner module.

There is a SERVICE mini USB port, but no miniflash button on the back!

If it does not say sim2 in the title its probably an original image so it's not suitable.

Flash a sim2 image.
Thanks for that. will have to find sim 2 allrussian first.
What about not having miniflash button on the back panel?

Well that's a disadvantage because simply pressing and holding that sorts out the NO CA error in a instance without it you need to use one of the various methods around to recover from NO CA.

I would like to thank both Ferret and Abu Baniaz for the support. I had to find USB drivers and once they were installed I was able to flash boot loader 84 successfully.

One of the threads stickied has all you need including drivers.

Anyway, learning the hard way has its benefits.

Glad you got there.
