All the SE images will detect a cable tuner mate. So yeah it will work.

this image will work on cable this is backup for sky 28.2e

Any image will work for cable people. As long as you configure your tuner it's not a problem.

Used this image as a starter for a fresh flash for my box with a new cable tuner, everything working great, added a few cable orientated plugins though thanks again for sharing!

Hi all,

I have only installed one image before and that was in 2012. I'm therefore very rusty. I have a Dreambox clone (Sunray DM800HD SE) with Pre-Patched SIM2-SSL84B-DM800SE_DreamboxUK-2.1.2 installed. I take it that I have to install boatloader ssl84D prior to installing the image. Is that right and if so where do I get it from. I have searched the site with no success.

Found the bootloader http://www.digitalworldz.co.uk/dreambox-dm800hd-downloads-512/382791-download-dm800hd-sim2-84d.html hope that helps anyone else looking for it.

Not sure if the above bootloader is the correct one. When I flash it to my box I get a "IMAGE FOR WRONG ARCHITECTURE" message.

Anyone any ideas?

the bootloader you posted is for 800HD not SE
Ill see where it is and link you too it
