Yes will work on a clone & if your box has already got 84b bootloader on it, you will not need to flash a bootloader.

Where would I get the 84b bootlader from?

My box says 84D when I booted up. Is this ok to leave and just flash with an 84b image?

why do i get error in ftp i can not get in the box 500 OOPS: vsftpd: not found: directory given in 'secure_chroot_dir':/var/share/empty

plus access denied on autoboqets

i can not log in even through ftp url . what is the usrname and password
