Image wise functionality is the same but the 800se does things that bit faster, not much faster but faster.

You would be better off with a 800se V2 or better still a VU+ Solo2

The dm 800 HD is a litle bit faster than the dm 800 pvr but the new vu+ box is much master than de dreambox

Does anyone know if the DM800se's tuner is more sensitive and with more precision in comparison to DM800 HD PVR?
I have some signal problems on some feed frequencies. My dish alignment is correct and I use Inverto LNB with the least possible cable in terms of length.

Depends on the tuner version you have in the 800, but you dont say what that is.

I replaced my tuner in a 800hd pvr because it was broken the new tuner is more sensitive in comparison to the old tuner.

I'm in the market for a cable tuner for a dm800se(clone), are cable tuners interchangeable between the dm800 and dm800se? Or could anyone recommend one?
