chaps, been reading on here and on google about making a complete back up image file, i found another thread where you copy some files via FTP to /HDD and then run via telnet but i encounter problems

create swap on HDD with 42 Mb

43008+0 records out
mkswap: /media/hdd/swapfile_backup: warning: don't erase bootbits sectors
on whole disk. Use -f to force.
Setting up swapspace version 1, size = 43004 KiB

/hdd/mkfs.jffs2 not found
root@dm800:/media/hdd/backup#
So then i thought i'd try DCC and in there there's a complete back up option but that's all grayed out and i can't select it?
Reason is i'd like to do this is that i have it all set up (apart from the recording) and i was going to flash another image to it today but i'd like to be able just to flash this full iamage back if i want to in the future?
Any ideas?
Thanks
