So then i thought i'd try DCC and in there there's a complete back up option but that's all grayed out and i can't select it?

Reason is i'd like to do this is that i have it all set up (apart from the recording) and i was going to flash another image to it today but i'd like to be able just to flash this full iamage back if i want to in the future?

Any ideas?

Thanks

Is the executable mkfs.jffs2 present in the folder/hard disk /hdd? As that's what the error message relates to. If the exe is there then did you chmod 755 it?

ah, i'm not sure to tell you the truth, thanks though, moved back to the black hole image so all good, i'm sure some one else that installs PLI-Jade will then find what to do or come across this post, am not sur ei chmod'ed the file now though.....mmmmmmmm, not sure....

Jesus that's my wireless keyboard running out there, lol, and me replying to a post that i thought was on about some thing else! doh, been a long day, lol, OK going to re-look at this as the way i got the dream set up now I'd love to make a complete back up image of it.....brb after i check the file you mention, just reading on the net and it was mentioning USB etc?

Thanks for that matey, all sorted (couple of erros at the beginning but have created the image) it's 54 meg but it's created a nfi file ready for flashing ui guess should i ever need it.
