I've recently flashed commando3 onto my Sagem x1 box, everything seemed great but then noticed that after an hour of watching same channel when I turn to another channel I get a blank screen and "ERROR- Channel not available". This error message and blank screen is on all the channels that I have !! The only thing I can do is re-boot and then everything seems okay again.
I read in another thread to do this :-
"for sagem boxes please follow instructions closely as follows

blue button to lead you to the features menu then blue button which takes you to the lakys system menu via the lakys menu

green for system menu then red for hardware settings

in hear you have to go to GTX/eNX chipset settings and switch the sagem box to On and the clear avia register to Off

then back then go into the driver selection and where it says nokia avia500 at the top click ok and it will change and you will get a screen stating do you want to reboot select yes "

thanks to yido.

Will this cure my problem???

I also noticed, god this is along thread, that when I press blue and then 3 - satinfo option- that the lcd displays some numbers but also scrolling across the bottom is a list of loads of different areas of the country.
Should this be happening or should it just be static with the name of the area I'm in ???

Please help a confused newbie.

PS thanx for reading - this thread is like "WAR AND PEACE "

oops

first of all would like to say "sorry" , I should probably have posted this thread in the "Commando v3 feedback" thread, could someone move it there for me ?
Secondly, when my box freezes and loses all channels ,when I go to satfind option at the bottom where all the areas were scrolling across I now have "??" . Please can someone help.

I have the same problem...tried many different images and Sportster 1.7+ UK05 seemed to last the longest. Changing the settings as described by yido didn't make any difference to me. I think the cc is doing some adjustments at the moment so I would leave it a day then try it again.

I have no idea whether this will help your box but i fixed this problem by doing the following:

Dbox > Settings > Misc Settings >

Use hardware sections: on
eable avia watchdog: on
enable enx watchdog: on

im not sure what this does but i would imagine it intercepts something before it crashes and resets it or fixes the problem.

Maybe dizzy\yido knows what exactly this does?
