Any Ideas!

Have a Sagem D Box 2 that has lost sound & picture. Scans perfect and finds all channels.

Its not the scart as it works when using the menu and on another box. The feed cable is ok and works well on other boxes.

Signal strength is good and ber is below 10.

Unplug the box and connect the scart to the second scart socket.

Tried that. Both scarts produce the same results.

Ny own opinion is tht it is between the tuner output and the scart socket. Menu ajusting is ok on screen.

My first thought was the tuner but scanning finds all channels meaning the tuner input is ok.

What image and what softcam and ucodes have you tried.

Hi,

Had the old Sportster 1.73 1x image on.

Just tried earlier version of Sportster and got most channels to work but not SS 1 or Movies 5,6,7,8 &9.

Just trying a rescan.

Whats the best image to use nowa days. Its ages since I used a Dbox. Been using Sview and T box.

If its a sagem, you should give either Blade Trinity Final or Lincsat 5 beta a go as they have the gbox cam.

btw....sky movies 5,6,7,8,9 dont exsist anymore, they are called sky movies action, drama, family etc etc

Are take it you are aware that Sportser image doesn't have the keys in it.

Cheers for that. It was just that I put an old image and old service files on to give it a go.

At least I know its still working. Had thoughts of a duff tuner, but seems to be fine.

I will give the new image a go with an up to date service file and see hyow that goes.

Will report back with the results.

After closing up the cable input socket a little to enable a tight fit and I have now put Sportster 1.7 UK 05 on the box its perfect.

All channels no blinking and the chirps of the birds have been silenced.

Now just a litte advice required on the path required to put those silly games on the box. I have no problem with the service files but always get the wrong path for the games.

Usually in Lib/tuxbox/plugings and chmodd 755 the .so files
you will know if thats the correct place for them as the tuxcom.so file will already be in there.
