Working front display/channel numbers

Hi guys has anyone managed to get the channel numbers to display correct on cloud ibox 2+
If so what image or how did you manage it.

Hi I flashed the ItalySat of Yesterday in cloud ibox3 and the display shows the correct channels number

not for me

in any image tried

I have old backup image of Open Pli April one and it is showing channels.

Same as alimac here never had it display channel numbers just random symbols and the time in standby if im lucky.

Must states mines a clone though.

That's all I get but I don't know if I have a clone or not..is there a quick way to tell?.

No mine looks identical even down to the QC stickers which confuses the situation but its either a clone or a version 1 airsat that now gets bricked by their own software..

Post a pic of your mobo and ill take a look.

Will do...This is a clone for sure..

AJT think yours looks like an "original" according to pics I have seen elsewhere. AFAIK to be honest with these boxes. I just stuck with Ferrets/Jaseks clone safe images just in case. The display doesnt show channel numbers either but image is stable so happy with that.

Same here use what ferret posts..you know where you are then..got to say though for £60 it's a cracking box does the job well.

Looks original mate and not a QCKING board but mine looked exactly like that and its either a clone or a airdigital v1 board that now get bricked with their own software.

So the only way to really tell is flash a recent image but if you do have a clone it will then need to be jtagged to recover.

This company really has no morals.

No genuine ibox3 image, this would brick a clone or v1 mobo.

Your lucky then still awaiting a bootloader hack so i can run the latest kernel.

Yes I read they just changed it with a new..

EDIT.
Well i have flashed latest Genuine openpli 4 image from ibox.net site and im flabbergasted it actually shows channel name in display not number...not great but its there for bbc 1 etc shows just bbc for bt sport shows bt.s..

This is on lifetime.

just tried vix and nothing on display again... so guess its all image dependent..
so if you want a front display use openpli 4.

openpli is the best for it

but for me still rare to get it to show

maybe clone issue

not looked at box for a spell though
