don't have cloud ibox found this

How to- fix red light issue on cloud ibox receiver?
100% fix

You will need to prepare (format) a blank USB stick. (FAT32)

1. Download and then un-zip the file and copy the whole folder "vuplus" including all subfolders and files to the root of the formatted usb stick. ( inside the vuplus, there is a subfolder "solo" and inside that subfolder there are three files "root_cfe_auto.jffs2" ,"kernel_cfe_auto.bin" and "boot_cfe_auto.jffs2")

2. Power off the cloud ibox with the rear connector/switch.

3.Now Insert the USB stick.

4. Power on the cloud ibox via the rear connector/switch, it will automatically read the files from USB stick.

5. Wait until the upgrade is completed (Do not power off the cloud ibox during upgrading, do not pull out the usb stick) it will be approx 5 mins depending on which image is loading.

6. Switch of receiver via rear switch and remove the USB stick
.
7.Turn on the power and your Cloud ibox receiver will reboot with the new image installed

Have you tried the obvious mate and just reflashed ?

I think all that has happened here is the online update downloaded original drivers which stopped the image working.

yes bud tried to reflash just red light wont do nothing else

just flash the normal way this box is cloud ibox 1 version 3 not
cloud ibox 3

just flash the normal way this box is cloud ibox 1 version 3 not
cloud ibox 3

Flash same as a image and its the bootloader for the cloud ibox3

If your have trouble flashing a image you can also find the noforce file in the xspeed folder and rename to force.

That may help

Hi mate look for the vu solo red light fix files , I think they are posted on here somewhere

Here is what ive found but it does say VU+ solo clone V3 so use at your own risk

For all who have problems with red light, no boot after image install you should try to repair box with this steps.

ONLY FOR Vu+Solo box v3.0 / v3.2

1) Power off the box. Connect small rs232 board to receiver and use rs232 cable connected to computer. Use cables provided with the Solo Box, do not mix Duo, Uno with Solo boards.

2) Go to folder 1. Run UpdateAllFlash.exe on PC and choose the correct COM port. Open "soloboot.bin", click update and power on the box. It will show progress, wait it to finish.

3) Power off the box and close UpdateAllFlash.exe

4) Go to folder 2. Run renewaes.exe load vu_2ver_22m_130110_sec_isp.bin

5) Power on the box and wait till flashing process complete.

6) Close renewaes.exe, power off the box, remove small rs232 board and cable

7) Go to folder 3 and update solo bootloader, with FAT32 formated usb stick and power off the box

8) Format usb stick again and use images from download section.

Please, first use laptop with rs232 port and xp. Usb to rs232 adapter will not work. Desktop pc could do more damage to your box because ground effect and static electricity. Use desktop pc at your own risk.
