I have just over 9 years no claims, and I pay just under a grand for my car, never had any points either (about to touch a massive piece of wood!!!).

I pay less than half for commercial vehicles lol, that get driven around all day while the car is lucky to do 30 miles a week ffs.

what insurance group is your car ?

I have about 12 years but my current insurance company only rewards upto 7. I pay 370 a year for a 10 plate Note I also pay 380 for a 07 plate zx10r. Still no where near what they expect the youngin's to pay.

9 yrs no claims
2 fault accidents in past 12 months

insurance went from 320 to 520

took weeks to find right deal though as renewal was 640

just got my renewal for the year i drive a range rover and my insurance has gone down 50quid to £330 a year..i use sureterm and have found them the best by far for quotes..others have come in at £400 plus
