Hi guys just out of interest can anyone tell me which side of the steering wheel the indicator arm is.On my corsa it's on the left hand side as per norm,but someone mentioned it might be on the opposite side cos it's a south korean make.Many thanks in advance

The i-30 indicator stalk is on the left.

On older Hyundai models, like older Japanese, British, Australian etc. cars it was on the right.

I could be wrong, but I think all new cars now conform with the European norm.
 
Thanks for that Nara.I'm a driving instructor and was a bit worried it would confuse the pupils
 
imo, if they cant operate the indicators on different sides of the steering wheel should they be in a car ? lol

It's when they change from the old car to the new one,they'd be putting the wipers on to turn left.
 
It was a joke, But on a serious note im sure they would mange it ;)
 
Took me years to get used to using indicators on the other side. I sometimes still squirt my washer/wipers when trying to flash my lights :)
 
if it's korean built it will still be on the riight, they are pretty much all built in the czech republic now though so the ind will be on the left.

remember when bought me first car hyundai accent driving it home i was flashing me wippers and everyone :)
and couldnt remember about the indicators being on other side get used to it in end.
