well stuck on A80 at Cumberland ,been here 3 hours so far, could have stayed in bed longer. Not even sure i will make Dundee today.
must be a bad accident up ahead somewhere.

so do you leave your engine running or switch it off and freeze? :(

and if you do leave it running is sitting stationary like that likely to run the battery down? :(

you'll have all the drivers from the cars around you wanting to come in for a cuppa lol

there's a few of us having a yap in the chatbox if you're bored ;)

As long as the engine is running then battery won't go flat unless the alternatory is knackered.

BTW, in case you are wondering a 1.6 petrol engine uses around .2 gallons per hour without air con and .3 with air con at idle. So roughly around £1 to £1.60 an hour.

i am so worried the work sent the wife home in a black hack over an hour ago, coming from glasgow she hasnt even reached moodiesburn yet...bad enough shes carrying the bump with her and i cant help :-(

have you been talking to her on the phone?

Has the Mrs and the Bump got home ok P33ERV, I do hope so, how long has she got left can't be easy for her in this weather.

Hi Gez how's things going now you got to your destination or still stuck in traffic, this weather cripples the country and we are in 2010, would have thought they would have learnt something by now on how to keep the roads open.
Take care mate hope you arrive safe.
