My Panasonic TV has a built in satellite tuner and a CAM slot on the rear. Does such a thing exists as a CAM that can run cccam and be connected to my network?

i dont think so although a diablo or similar might be able to connect to hadu through the pc ect but id say its a non-starter... the cam slot is for top up tv but i suppose it might be able to run say a jsc sports card with a cam and connected to hotbird but the menu on the sat side is basically a freesat box built into your tv. a linux stb to do what you want can be got for under £100.regards mdt

Oh well, I really liked the idea of having the TV an all-in-one sat machine running CCcam. I still like the idea of not having a box sitting beneath my TV. I quite fancy the look of those Ferguson Ariva Mini boxes, AFAIK they can be stuck onto the rear or your TV.

i think you could notice i said think as i believe the panasonic hs a secret menu so you can use abroad with other sats and i am sure someone had a dish at 0.8w when open with keys using either a dragon cam or diablo and mini dish at 28e through for fta through diseqc switch .
and freeview through the other tuner as had sa thd and freeview hd tuner i think samsung are the same
digi or someone may know a little more if you are thinking of cccam that it would need to be diablo wireless cam

My old Samsung had a Sat and Freeview tuner, it allowed scanning of all satellites and supported DisEqC 1.2 and USALS. A CAM on that TV would have been bliss.

I believe the Diablo Wifi cam is capable of running cccam as a client (and I think I may have read somewhere as a server).

tried the diablo wifi with cccam client last night in my Samsung sat tv talking to my dreambox. It connected to the wireless access point, but did not seem to want to connect to the server. Tried lots of reboots, but gave up at 2 in the morning. This evening turned on the telly and the scrambled channels were all open. Obviously a longer downtime cured something, probably at the access point . I had done switch off's of the TV and dream, but it never worked. Obviously needed a few mins to clear.
