Hi Guys,

Quick question. Pure Oscam.

I know how to select cards from a server but is there a way to block a card ( caid) from a server?

i.e if 3 people are giving Sly UK but I want to block myself receiving 2 off them is there a way to do this or is it a case of only selecting what I want from these 2 servers.

Some VPS are kicking in before Locals and glitching.

Cheers

You should put each reader into a separate group and then define what caid each server gives you, simples ;)

Don't see how that helps mate. Still getting to grips with Oscam.

What's the difference between seperate grops and all in group 1 for caid selection i.e I still have to go thru each server and select what I want. How does grouping them help?

Cheers

The cards go into their own group. Then the user gets added to that group, or not!

Its good practise mate,it means you can then match users to groups depending on what you want them to get,

As for caid selection, then yes you could still have them in one group, once you have filtered your readers,

Its no harm trying to get it right from the get go ;)

I might just add that caid selection wont completely block a provider,it just de-prioritises it,so it will try your other readers first,

If you really want it gone then your best bet is to get the peer to block you from their end :)

Cards/lines from others are the same thing really.

Probably should have said put each [reader] into its own group.

So does Oscam read in order? i.e Group 1 first till it finds the correct card/line and if not in group 1 looks at group 2,then group 3 etc etc or can it be set up to do this?

It will try them all first then follow load balancer settings,if load balancing is not working at face value, dont forget you can adjust the weight of each reader

Assign the cards/lines a group number..

Reader 1 = group 1
Reader 2 = group 2 and so on..

Then add the users to the group.

User 1 = group 1
User 2 = group 1,2
User 3 = group 2

User 1 will only see reader 1 because hes in the group 1

User 2 will see reader 1 and 2 because hes in group 1 and 2

User 3 will only see reader 2 because hes in group 2

This can go on and on for as many readers or lines that you have..

Some have upto 10 readers /lines...

So 10 readers/10 groups.... and the users added to the group.

User 7 = group 3,7,8

User 7 will only see cards/lines 3, 7 and 8 because hes in groups 3, 7 and 8

Hope that makes sense???
