Rytec Missing?

Hello guys Rytec uk irgin is missing from crossepg-XMLTV providers on TSimage_3.0 exp 2014-06-25 image, updated providers made no difference, xmltvimport wont install get this error:Unknown package 'enigma2-plugin-extensions-xmltvimport'.
Collected errors:
* pkg_hash_fetch_best_installation_candidate: Packages for enigma2-plugin-exte
sions-xmltvimport found, but incompatible with the architectures configured
* opkg_install_cmd: Cannot install package enigma2-plugin-extensions-xmltvimpo
t.
Any ideas lads on how to get either sorted, thanks.

It shows up OK on OpenATV image after I refresh the providers m8, maybe an image problem,

Try a reflash incase your image was corrupted

It is a new image the latest TSimage release, are they any dependencies that might need installing? Is there a way to manually add Rytec irgin uk to providers list? Thanks.

I know its a new image but it still might be corrupted m8,it does happen every now and then

Should need any dependencies as they would already be installed in the image when you install CrossEPG

Its just strange how it was there on previous version of TSimage and then suddenly disappeared, that's why I updated to the latest version, not much fun without a epg,lol.

cant u update Rytec files in crossepg menu

If you don't want to reflash then uninstall crossepg,reboot,and reinstall it

Rytec updates fine 32 providers found but no virgin uk in list, will try and re-install crossepg again, thank lads.

Sorry my mistake,didn't realise this was in the cable section,

my advice was aimed at the satellite end of things,it was only when you said Virgin UK I twigged it

Have re-installed crossepg and no difference even after updating providers.

FTP to your box. Navigate to usr/crossepg/providers and see if a file called rytec_virgin_uk_xmltv.conf is present

If not, create it. Edit the file as a txt file and enter:

description=Rytec Virgin UK XMLTV
protocol=xmltv
channels_url_0=http://www.vuplus-community.net/rytec/VirginUK.channels.xml.gz
epg_url_0=http://www.vuplus-community.net/rytec/rytecxmltvuk.gz
preferred_language=eng

Save file. Reboot box. Then select the provider in the Crossepg setup option in the menu

Thanks for that, have followed your instructions to the letter, it was not there, after doing that its visable in file on Dcc, but not showing in rytec providers in crossepg, do you think could be image related.

Reflashed new image, turned out to be wrong image type, now got no ca found, anyone have any idea which bootloader you use for dm800se, e.g SSL84a, turning out to be a right chore,lol.

download the right bootloader for the image u need and flash that , ie flash image do not reboot. go back and load bootloader u need

dont forget to push the little button on the back of the 800se box to load again before flashing

I did not even know there was a black little button at back of box until I read this, thought it was knackered, reflashed image as you said and seems to working, put this image on: newnigma2_dm800sev2_v4.0.11-rM-sim2, back to same problem, no rytec irgin uk in providers list, even after manually adding them, thanks.

Had the same problem as you, but from past experience it's best not to mess about with your image etc. just give it a few days....back now with 38 providers !!!! including irgin uk.
I reckon that occasionally they need to update their end...hence the loss.......try telling my wife that !!!!

No matter what I tried to try and get rytec irgin uk working, it was just never visable in providers, so what I did was deleted the text inside Rytec Demark XMLTV and replaced it with the information above, rebooted and now all works fine, just had to remember to enable Rytec Demark XMLTV in the XMLTV Providers list, this may help anyone else out with the same problem, thanks lads.
