Depends if your DVD player will play MP3 files. Use any writing software and burn the MP3 files as data!

Assuming your dvd player is suitable, burning it as a data disc with Nero will definitely work.
What make/model dvd player you got?

This worked for my DVD player in my car.

My only problem i had was using subfolders when trying to play avi videos but i dont think this the problem in ure case.

Try burning without any subfolders maybe this will help.

As Happy says tell us the make and model and we will be able to help further. :)
