Hi,
To clarify (because I know that's a clumsy title), I'm wondering if the internal processing which modern TVs do to render the image to the screen is affected by them also having to process the freeview signal.
In other words, when I go to a TV shop and look at new style tellies, I hate the picture stutter when it's showing fast sports. I like watching fast sports and don't want to compromise my viewing experience when my old CRT finally goes pop.
I was wondering, therefore, if removing the need to process the freeview signal internally by connecting my Humax HDR FOX T2 to it via HDMI would make the picture stutter go away.
My reasoning is that watching action movies on DVD/BR would be awful if the motion stutter was present.
I don't want a big screen device, just 32" will be plenty for our room, so I know that I can't get a plasma that small (plus they're all-but phased out now anyway). I guess it's LCD/OLED only for me, then.
Anybody know if this would help; any particular models that would work in this way; or even any models that have ZERO motion stutter regardless of the above.
All technical expertise and advice gratefully received!
Cheers.
