No tv picture

Hey all I'm having a problem with my lg smart tv, I woke up this morning and turned on tv the red led power light flashed 3 times and came on I only get sound no pic tho I can change channel but still no pic only sound

Think its the back light it might av failed i phoned lg and they won't be out till tues I'm gutted

They are picking it up tomorrow which isn't to bad still will not have a tv thinking it might be a good idea to extend the warranty any advice in that

I'm glad you're back up-and-running mate... just as a matter of interest... does your smart TV receive automatic software updates OTA or via an internet connection...?

Maybe the problem was software related and has now been corrected by an update...

I'd still want to have it taken away and checked doggy capacitors on their way out can do this imo.

Aye was thinking update was off for 24 hours tho after reseting it over and over its away now, the problem has happened twice since I bought it back in jan its beter to send back, I just hope they don't turn it on and it works and they just send it back without testing it fully

Update on tv; they ran a test and its a fault with the board a couple days for parts so should have it back in a week, iv been impressed with the lg service I must say

Update; got tv back this morning and its working fine just need 2 set it up to my prefrence, the pic seems beter than before might be that iv been watching a laptop for 6 days lol
