iPhone Iphone 6 Release Date

I heard from one of the lads today at work that it will be released in september this year?

Can anyone confirm that this is true or just a rumour?

To be honest the Iphone 5s did not inspire me to get one, I am still using the 4s but think it might be time for an update soon.

The only issue I do have is all my mates with a 5s have smashed screens it certainly seems they are less robust?

I've read on some sites that it could be released 25th September, or even earlier in the month.
I'm still using an iPhone 4, don't plan to upgrade anytime soon.

The 6 is meant to be using sapphire glass for their screens so will be super robust

excellent news sapphire glass screen same quality they use in high end watches bad news for mobile phone repair shops lol

I read that there are production issues with the new 5.5 ins screen and that will potentially be delayed until 2015.

apple are generally aligned on September release dates so will they go with the 4.7 ins then and bring the 5.5 ins when issues resolved or delay both. No dates are yet announced on either but September is still the rumour.

i like to follow this site on twitter and on-line as seems to be reliable. My 5 is up at the end of the year but can't see any reason I would upgrade.

An update on the glass front

Looks like the 9th September is the next key date for the iPhone 6 with it hitting the streets around the 19th the likely probability.

Couple more details or potential details on the iphone 6.

appeara to confirm the delay on the 5.5 ins model until later in the year or even 2015 which was said in the summer and in and and in my earlier post.

picture of the back cover as well and potential for the "Apple" logo to light up when you gett messages etc.

Nope lol. Although tbh when I took the lid off the phone was ready to slide out if I wasn't sitting down.

Just seen my colleague in works iphone 6 plus. It is a stupid size. I would much prefer my 5s.
How can you carry that brute around. It used to be your phone was cool the smaller it was.
