HTC one and chromecast

Hi guys, just gone from ios to android, and I'm loving it. I was wondering, if I got a chromecast can I watch whatever I have on my phone on the tv? So could I watch my now tv or Netflix or web content and play it on chromecast? Could be interesting for iptv

I've seen some casters such as measy cast that say they can mirror phone, will all apps do this? Such as the on demand players etc?

I've just done same thing gone from ios to HTC one, been looking at chrome cast as well, on the website there's a picture off BBC iPlayer on the tv so presume it works with all on-demand apps but not 100*% . If anyone's got one be nice to here what you think of it and what it can do and can't do, thanks

I saw this, but I've read copy versions of the chromecast can do a lot more?
