Is there anyway to permanently get rid of Media Scanner? The phone is slow enough starting up to begin with, then it does a media scan of the phone/ SD card, and then after it's completed it, off it goes for a second go????? Is it really necessary? i don't really bother with songs and a handful of pics is all i'll ever have.
